Will it be for a variety of different languages or mostly one? Is it a pull out program where you will see a lot of different kids or a homeroom situation with the same kids?

The reason I ask is that I am an ESL teacher
(not pull-out). I have taught with mostly Spanish speakers with a few others in the mix. Both of my long term subs (maternity) were not certified in ESL. They did just fine.

ESL speakers need an English speaker! And TONS of vocabulary. You can do it. A few things (How long have they been in the country?, How old they are?, etc...) will determine the direction you need to take
with them.

Please feel free to PM if you have any specific questions. I have taught in an ESL setting for 10 years. I would JUMP at the chance. ELS learners are usually the most appreciative little boogers ever! As are their parents. They WANT to learn especially English. Best of luck!
