Literature Circle

My fourth grade class read this book last year in literature circles. They loved it! I had many students that were not big readers love this book and then that carried over into other books. Eventually it had a large impact on their reading skills. I had students reading the book at home when they were supposed to be sleeping, etc. It was a great book to discuss. My students really got into discussing why the kids in the town didn't like the boy. I say go for it!
