That its a seventh grade book in your district? I was a little unsure what your post was saying...maybe the whole thing didn't post for some reason.

Anyway...I remember having it read to me in the 4th grade and loving the story so much. A little violent in parts and sad, but a beautifully written piece of literature in my opinion.
