not so lucky

We're not so lucky. Our media specialist doesn't let anyone in the library the first two weeks of school-she has to "set things up" (as a classroom teacher, I don't have that need...). She closes two weeks before school is over. We get 20 minutes a week for book check out..maybe. My last three times were cancelled, the heat was out (as it was all over the building), the kids were ready for vacation (?), she had to leave early. She has nothing scheduled on Mondays and Fridays. These days are for teachers to bring classes for research projects-HELLO-with testing I have little time for projects and the ones I do rely on the computer lab. What a waste of a "teaching" position.
