Our is great

Our students have 30 minutes in the library once a week. During this time she takes one of our indicators and does some type of activity. She may study the various genres on a couple of the library days, teach reading strategies, etc. The last 10 minutes or so she lets them check out books. On certain days she takes them to the computer lab and teaches different technology skills. She has already worked on research skills with them a little, spreadsheets, using word processing, how to include clipart, etc. I think our media specialist is wonderful. she is very good about asking what we need help covering and she figures out ways to incorporate it. I really appreciate everything she does.
