Clip to ScrapBook
We haven't started planning this yet, but in past years, we have tied each day of the week to one of his books-like Monday would be One Fish Two Fish-The kids would wear read and blue, Tuesday would be Fox in Socks and they would have a crazy socks day, etc. We would also establish a school wide reading incentive for those classes that read the most minutes or each time the class met a goal, they did something-like cut the principal's tie (not really the tie he actually wore for the day, but the kids didn't know that). You could have guest readers in to the class or school. We have gotten a variety of people in to read to each of the classes-firemen, policemen, superintendent, parents, etc. Just a few ideas:)
