Clip to ScrapBook
I was a junior leader when I was a single adult. Don't even know how I got into it, but I loved that group of girls! We had a great time. DD was in a brownies troop for a year and then we moved. Could not get her into
a troop here and was working full time so I did not want to take that on too. I hate that for her because I loved my experience as a GS.

I was a leader for DS in BS. The first year the other mom and I did all the meetings ourselves. The parents literally dropped boys off and picked them up. We agreed to keep troop going if parents agreed to help out. We rotated from house to
house and the parents took turns coming up with what would happen at meetings. This was a great plan and the boys earned many different badges that we would not have had knowledge to do. Parents were reluctant at first, but once they embraced it it was a wonderful experience for all!
