a little bit of advice
By MrsM

Clip to ScrapBook
There are cds with activity, and each one is short, maybe 3 minutes. If the class is getting restless, put on the cd, announce that it's time for a little "dance", and get everybody moving in the same way. It energizes the brain and uses some energy. Try brain gym, like another poster mentioned. One teacher I know has all the kids stand up and wiggle. Change your lessons a little bit (if the kids are just sitting all day) to include some movement. If I'm off the mark, just disregard, but it might be worth trying. Using 3 minutes for energy release might give you a couple of hours of fewer problems.
