exaggerate, nothing!

Clip to ScrapBook
Yes, I agree. Some teachers I work with and I were talking about this very thing after school today. I have students who go home every day to tell their parents how unfair I am, etc., when all I am really doing is my job. The child presents the story so vividly to the parents and whines and whines about it. I do think that the parents are brainwashed after awhile. For some strange reason, they believe their child. I really do think that when these parents finally come in to see me, they are looking for some two-headed monster. They are usually surprised to see how honest and calm and reasonable I really am.
