Jeopardy templates
By NJ Teacher

Clip to ScrapBook
There are Jeopardy templates that can be used as review games or to design your own. I also love it for teaching coordinate graphing. I had found a site with holiday motifs and the students got to move them across the graph
and write and locate ordered pairs. I also used it for telling time, because you can bring up a clock from the Gallery and use it to set times and do elapsed times. I also use it for writing. I put up a typed text and the students can underline phrases containing powerful verbs, repetition, and other specific craft lessons we are focusing on. Depending on how long your presentation is,
you could focus on using a few subject areas, or as the previous poster mentioned, just demonstrate using WORD, PowerPoint and a website for a sample lesson. We even use it to check spelling words for our pretest. The kids love writing with the special pens. I was actually a bit nervous when I got mine because the other teachers at my grade had been chosen to get one before me, and I was hoping it wouldn't be too time intensive to plan lessons using it. You can download the software for home use from Smart Technologies and do your lessons at home and e-mail them to school. I thought that was great!
