Hi! Last year I had my students select an endangered animal and write a report about it. They typed it and we divided it into pages to put into our books. We had also done several kinds of poetry so I had them write a poem about their animal. Also typed and inserted. Then I had them write a make believe story which was also typed and inserted. We did a table of contents, dedication page, title page, and about the author page as well. They turned out great. It took us the better part of the semester to do, but it was well worth it.
I agree with the color pencils. Markers get messy looking although they stick to the right page. We just glued our pages in.
