What kind of presentation are you giving? My school has five Smartboards that we all share. Because of this, many people don't really know even how to set them up! I am trained as a Smartboard Master (sounds much cooler| than it really is!). I did a training back in November and it focused on hooking up the Smartboard (I made a document that had pictures and words of what to do and laminated it to attach to the back of each Smartboard), using it on a website, and using it in Microsoft Word. I had a message written on it that the teachers had to answer the question, "Have you ever used a Smartboard before?" | |
by writing their name under yes and no. Everyone is supposed to try to use the Smartboard for a website and a Microsoft Word lesson and then I'll go on and show them PowerPoint.
This was beyond only a small fraction of our staff. I got lots of compliments from those who have never or rarely used the Smartboard before!
