Just did this Friday. I have monthly book reports assigned the first ofeach month due the last Friday of the month. The memory Bag was January's project. Ijust threw together a sample bag of abook I knew real well....Charlotte's web. I put in a stuffed pig, spider, and farm animals. Forthe setting I put in a picture from a magazine of a barn and a ticket to remind me of the fair. I also cut out words from magazines to tell the part of writings in the web. I put in a blue medal to tell about Wilbur winning atthe fair. I just explained it to them and they did a wonderful job. It's the secondyear I've done this project and I love it. So do the kids!
One boy, who gets nohelp/support at home came in with the neatest idea. He read SuperFudge and Fudge had lost a tooth eating a brownie. His Dad got all into the project and sent in a brownie with a white tic tac in it! This is the first time I've heard form his Dad all year!:D Good luck!
