Broadway Series
By ConnieWI

Clip to ScrapBook
I have a subscrition to the "Broadway Series" and so I see five shows per year. This series of shows travels to many large cities in the U.S. and is well worth the money.

This year, I will be seeing "The Lion King,"
"Avenue Q," and "Monty Python's Spamalot." This year, I have already seen "My Fair Lady" and "The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee."

I thought "Rent" was much better on fillm than on stage. The play pretty much drops you into the middle of the story and if you are not familiar with the subject of the play, you are lost! The soundtrack is great! In my opinion, the play left
much to be desired!

On stage, I loved "Les Miz," "Peter Pan," "Hairspray," "Phantom of the Opera," "Cats," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat," "Beauty and the Beast," and especially "Chicago," which was also an outstanding film.
