Groundhog Day
By aw

Clip to ScrapBook
We celebrate Grounghog Day by singing some songs, reading some books about groundhogs, and make a prediction on if the groundhog will see his shadow. However, my favorite thing that we do is we study shadows. We start by making finger puppets at circle and discuss what makes the shadow. We then experiment with different materials to see if everything makes a shadow or if some things do not. We then trace our shadows on large butcher paper. Finally we put on shadow puppet shows.
