Rubric and Matrix
By jojo72

Clip to ScrapBook
I too struggled with this with my current class and developed a system that seems to work a little better. I have my "I Can..." lists turned into a Matrix of sorts - like a personal chart. Each student gets a copy of the chart and keeps it in a manila folder, which then gets stored in some pocket charts hanging up - so they don't get lost. By Friday, each students needs to color in 2 boxes - or activities - from each station. The completed results go in their folder, i collect and grade each folder with a rubric. If you would like me to post copies, i can do that, or email you with them.
