I liked your response and whole-heartedly agree. You said in a few words what I tried to get across in a lengthier post!

I never expect gifts and it would be silly to tally up their total worth. This year I got a bath lotion/gel set, a pretty reindeer pin, a greatest teacher bookmark along with a $25 dollar gift card to Borders (shocker!!!) and last but not least a King-Size Hershey Chocolate bar!:D

Really, I treasure the little love notes and drawings from the kids and the comments and trust of the parents more than the usual gifts of candles, candy and coffee mugs or dollar store trinkets.
