Colored Cups
By jennmcg72

Clip to ScrapBook
We also have colored cups in our cafeteria, however we only use blue and red cups. Lunch begins with a red cup on every table. For the first 10 minutes of the lunch period, students are not allowed to talk. They must eat their lunch. After 10 minutes, cups change to blue cups and students are allowed to talk. However, if the noise gets too loud, cups will go back to red. Our teacher assistants monitor the cafeteria and developed this system to help with the noise level. It's working very well and we've used it for the past two years. Good luck in developing a system that works for your school! :s)
