What we do...

Our state test has very little multiplication and division on it. We do the facts and meaning of multiplication and we do the meaning of division, just enough so they could draw a picture to figure out a simple division problem if needed. We move into geometry, fractions, and probability before returning to division and more advanced multiplication because those are the topics we have to get to before the state testing in March. I wish testing didn't drive the sequence of topics, but for us, the reality is that it does.:mad:
