Transfering By musicbug

Due to a great many issues I transfered into my current school last year. It was a bit of a culture shock, no matter how nice the people are there will be some of that. I don't know how your system handles transfers, are you willing to switch grade levels? Does senority or princpal interviews play a role? As far as the nasty stuff, as you able to eat in your room? If so you might consider it. Why sit and be a policeman (to make it hard for them to gossip about you)? As far as working with your MIL, bless you. I don't know many women who would want that particular situation. Even | | if you are really unhappy, you may want to do a little "shopping" at your DS's school to be sure it is a good fit for you. Having 2 tough years in a row is no fun, trust me on this one. I visited but didn't pay attention to something that later on caused me to have a little adjustment problem to my new school. I love the place. Now I've learned to fit in in my own way. A big plus for your move is not worrying about after care for your DS. However you may want to take into consideration how he might feel with his mom as a teacher in his school as he gets older ,or reaches your grade level. There's so much to consider. Take your time, think, plan, and pray( if you so chose)on it. I wish you luck.
