Hi
Since the parent has contacted you I'd suggest reconviening the IEP and changing the child's health care aid's responsibilities. I'd have it written in the IEP that the aide must help the child with lunch and what
ever else concerns you and the parents. BE very specific. I'd make sure the principal was at the meeting and then I'd sweetly say now there may be a scheduling problems with Linda, so can you help us set up her schedule. Write it out on paper. From 9 - 10 do _____ and so on.
Make sure Linda gets a say and be sure to ask all if they forsee any particular problems with the schedule
and the IEP. Somehow work into the conversation that this is a legal document etc. as a reminder to Linda that she need to hold up her part of the IEP. GOOD luck!
