classroom control

Clip to ScrapBook
We all try to prime the kids for best behavior when we are gone, however we can't control what happens when we aren't there. I've had some great subs and some terrible subs. I only react if individual names are written down. I usually speak to those individuals with a heart to heart type of talk. Most kids are really good for a sub most of the time. Some kids don't deal with suprises or changes very well. I would just do a reminder talk about how subs are "like a guest in your home". They don't know our rules, be kind, show them where to find the guest towels, etc. :D
