Our sped teachers do the FBA

The case manager for the student is responsible for developing the plan and presenting it at an IEP meeting. Of course the input of the child, parent, teachers, administrator, bus driver, etc. is encouraged. I used to think it was just more paperwork but the plans I have developed do modify behavior. We do several FBAs a year because if a child is suspended for 10 days then it is a change of placement and the IEP committee must reconvene and develop a FBA.
