Go for it!

Clip to ScrapBook
I opened my current school 3 years ago. It is a lot of work b/c everything is new ex. PTA had no $$$ b/c it had never existed, procedures were new, etc...

But our principal at that time was great about wanting input
from everyone. Also, we were able to order everything! Our district built the school with a set amount of $$$ from the bond that passed many years before. So if we didn't spend it, we lost it.

My team ordered over $35,000 worth of math manipulatives (for 6 rooms) thinking we would get half of it. We got it ALL!!!! Everyone is soooo jealous of the great stuff we have.

Another
plus for me was working in a new building. My school was built in 1907 (no lie) and had the WORST air quality known to man. I love working in a place that I can actually breath in!

Weigh your options! Best of luck on your decision! :D
