contractual obligations?
By Jen

Clip to ScrapBook
I have had this problem too in the past but whenever I bring it up that my contract states exactly how much prep time each teacher should heave and I do not have it, I usually am able to get the prinicpal to problem solve some of these scheduling difficulties with me. It does take a lot of give and take from all teachers though. I think it is important for others to really be aware of your situation- by showing your schedule or inviting them in during your craziest times. Also getting parent support on your side doesn't always hurt! If you are to do your best then you also need the same things normally prpvided to tother teachers.
