No Prep time or lunch for me either

I am in the same boat, I barely get lunch or prep time go in for 7 am every morning and leave at 4:00 sometimes 7 pm because I am typing up IEP's etc. I have an aide and I make sure she gets her lunch, she is really good| and takes my guys out for recess. This has gone on for 3 years now. I am tired at the end of the day. So many reg. ed teachers think that because you have an aide in your room you have it easier. It is hard and something does need to be done. It took me 3 hours just to figure out my schedule because when you have a multi age/ grade classroom and that you have to make sure they all | |
go to different specials etc. I don't know what the answer is. The kids lose out because I am burnt too. No one seems to care either, you are just a person in that room.
