BIP vs behavior management plan
By Jen

Clip to ScrapBook
Just want to let you know that there is quite a big difference between a BIP and a behavior mangement plan. A behavior intervention plan is quite a bit more specific in terms of trying to determine the antecedents, causes, and intentions regarding the studnets' behaviors. I would call a behavior management plan a much simpler plan in dealing with behavior purely from the standpoint of changing a behavior with the use of chosen motivators- usually external. A BIP often utilizes behavior mangement within it.
