Draw on the dark blue construction paper with crayon or construction paper crayons. Encourage the children to use lots fo color and to press down fairly hard on their crayon. Paint the whole paper with the salt mixture. When the water evaporates you hope that it leaves crystals on the picture giving a wintery effect.
