work bins
By Janice

Clip to ScrapBook
You can use work bins to allow the kids independent practice with activities that they've mastered, or are close to mastering. You can set up a system to show the kids what work they have to do, and then they do it. Inside the bins may be a worksheet (that they can complete alone) or an activity like simple assembly. It can be as easy or as hard, depending on the kid. The bins should be individualized for the kids as much as possible. I'm coming from an autism prospective, but it works for everyone!
