Find an adult By suem

that loves to read. My husband came into our class one year and I had saved the books he wrote from Christmas to when we had our reading week in February. The pile would have been about 5 feet tall if I dared piling them up that high!
Others I have heard, policeman, fireman, mayor, school nurse, principal, school lunch personel. These are people the children would know and would enjoy hearing.
Other ideas, dress as a favorite character, illustrate a favorite book. Older students could read a book in a day. Each child has several pages to read, then they summarize the book.
