And it is updated, some of the classifications have been updated to reflect current technologies and changes in animal classifacation and so on (Melvil would have loved computers). It is the library standard for schools and most public libraries. It's very important that we teach students to find information quickly and accurately (sp, it's Friday). Any way, have you ever tried to find something in a book store, specialy a non-fiction book? Not always easy, is it?
