I also have an annoying student

I already had my conferences and this is what I told my parent. "Your son is doing very well academically. He's working on grade level in reading but still needs a little more help with adding in math. I also am a little
concerned about his relationships with students in the class. He has one special friend but often when working in collaborative groups I've noticed social problems with getting along with other children ( girls in particular) He continues to claim that kids are bothering him or looking at him or he tattles on each and every thing that someone in his group is doing. I really would like to

start a individual plan for your son where we can identify the positive behaviors and support those good choices he makes in the classroom."

THen the mom said okay I just want to say he tells me that the kids are bothering him and that they do not get in trouble. I feel like I just want to move him to another school ( private) because I am not happy about the unfair treatment. NEEDLESS to say he is still in my class and well I try to be a little more FAIR and the action plan seems to be working. I'll post it when I get back to school on monday.
