It's not a big deal
By lenarmc

Clip to ScrapBook
My oldest son is right handed, but my 3 y/o uses his left hand to write and his right hand to use scissors. It's no big deal for us because my husband is left handed and I'm a rightie.
I told his teachers to not switch his hands. He will choose when he's ready. I think that it's so cool that he can use both.
I think that I remember my pediatrician saying that if a child has chosen a hand at that age (18 mths) there may be something neurological going on.
