Jan Brett

Clip to ScrapBook
I think you could make a simple script from Jan Brett's Gingerbread Baby. You could add a few extra animals and perhaps have more than one student play the Gingerbread Baby. I've done that in the past with the lead parts-had one student do the lead for the first half of the play and a second student be the lead for the last part. She also has a new book 3 Snow Bears that I haven't seen yet-so I don't know if you could create enough parts. If you want to consider purchasing a script complete with music and CD Bad Wolf Press has a holiday story-includes more than just Christmas- for about $40.00. You would get director's notes, script, musical score, and CD. They have a web page.
