We still paddle

small little school in Texas and we still have a paddle. Only the principal can paddle with parents permission and a witness. I have mixed feelings. Sometimes with the way kids are being raised, I think a good spanking is due (but should be delivered by the parents). I think if the parents did the paddling at home, all would be good elsewhere. Just a thought from a small town in TX.

PS - I have spanked my own children (only on the bottom) and have found that one good spanking = at least 6 months of good behavior:p. There is so much testing these days and kids just seem to think that they are the boss:eek: How can we educate when we are having power struggles?

Wow this really opens a can of worms for debates.
