Very common

Clip to ScrapBook
This is very common in first grade. When I give spelling tests in first grade, my kids number their papers. If I dont check their numbers before the test starts, they will sometimes number 1-5 correctly, but put 6-10 on the right edge of the paper. Then the words that go with 6-10 will all be written backwards. By the time they've done 3 or 4 spelling tests, they stop doing this. I think it goes away once they get a little more experienced. Don't worry.
