Holy Crap

I too am still picking up my jaw and am in shock. I had no clue that this still existed. I don't believe it was ever allowed in Alaska, EVER! I can't imagine this making that big of a difference in the classrooms, and if so, I don't think that the teacher wqas ever in control of his/her classroom in the first place. But, that is just my humble opinion!! Here's hoping that a few teachers turn to positive reinforcement and also some behavior management other than fear. How terrible!
