paddling
By jdh

Clip to ScrapBook
Back when I was in school paddling was allowed. Now that I am a teacher it hasn't been allowed even by an administrator. Well, it was in my son's private school here in Minnesota.
I think that kids behaved a lot better when they knew they could receive a paddle for misbehavior. Kids can get away with sooooo much these days it makes teaching really a tough job. At least your administrator can still paddle. I think the teachers have a right to be in an uproar. They will have a more difficult time with behavior. They will have to teach with disrespectful children just like the majority of the rest of us teachers do. It is sad that someone (probably not a teacher) took this away from them.
