Keep the ideas rolling in.:) I am sure this is a great jump start for others too. If you are like me you use the same stuff but when you are cleaning you find a gem of a book that you couldn't find during the holidays. This
way all the good stuff can be up front. And it is neat to see the popularity of books from all other the World. One I would like to add myself is the "Cajun Night Before Christmas" I always read the original one first and then have my students compare and contrast. The two. Please keep ideas coming. One poster made a good point what qualifies a classic?
Too me if it is a good book and the children love it it is classic enough for me. I have found many great Holiday books that are not on the top 10 bestsellers list.
