End of day

I have had the kids vote on a book that I would read at the end of the day. I would have the kids clean up and get ready to go home. They would either sit at thier desks or in a circle in a small area of the room. Some days I would have book that would just be read for that particular day, and others I had a book that might take a few days to finish and I would leave them with the question, "What will happen next?" Most of the time they were very excited to see what tomorrow would bring for the characters in the story.
