I wish I had that time to see my kids

I wish we had a few minutes at the end of the day to see our kids. They have agendas to write their daily assignments in and it would be a great time to quickly look over everyones agenda to make sure they all have their assignments recorded correctly.
Another idea for this time might be a logic puzzle or "question of the day". Students could be given over night to find he answer and report back to you the next day with one correct answer drawn for a small prize.
