Hi! I teach in a special ed school. My kids sound a lot like yours. My biggest advice is to get to know Meyer Johnson's Boardmaker program. You will need to do almost all you activities with picture symbols to help your students to understand. As for setting up the classroom just remember less is more especially with all your kids in wheelchairs. Get to know your paraprofessionals (i.e. pt, ot, slp) very well. If you have any questions feel free to email me any time.
Hope to hear from you soon! Michelle
