On Friday of homecoming week the students wear the school colors and we go out to watch the homecoming parade. I don't mind doing this because we're a small town so our kids know it's homecoming and are already wound up. Also, the parade is at the very end of the day and students are dismissed shortly after it. And, my youngest daughter was in the parade because she was elected homecoming princess this year.
