Clip to ScrapBook
There are pros and cons, but I think it depends on the student too. It is hard to decide if you should spend most of your time on one or on the other 20+ kids in your room. It is not fair to either. Getting some input from the special ed teacher might help you with that student while they are in your room for that hour. There is bound to be something they can do. It seems that we went too far the srong way when the intention was to provide a "free" education to the special ed students, but now everyone wants them to be "normal" what ever that is. They should be taught as much as possible and to their potential and anything less is failing them.
