In addition, in the case of evacuation, we are instructed to get the names of all the children we have on paper. This is especially important if you have kids in speech or resource rooms as the parents will need to know where to locate their child. The other new addition to our security is that all doors are locked entering the school except the front entrance. Visitors must have a yellow tag. If an unidentified person is met in the hall, we must direct them to the front office. Our instructions have been very simple but scary to think about.
