We had a literacy carnival last year. We had a wall climb where they climbed to the top and got a post it note with a sight word on it and read it, dart throw with a word behind each balloon, duck pond with color words on the bottom, cake walk with short vowel words instead of numbers, etc. HUGE CROWD...the best ever at our school
