    And for all these years, I thought I was the only one who resented those days. I agree with everything that's been said. Teachers are in the classroom every day, and we get the least recognition of the sort mentioned. (Not that that is why we do it, but it does rankle when others are taken out to lunch and given flowers, etc.)
