I had this problem last year, when we were out of funding and I need some survival signs. I started doing searches on the net for survival sign clipart and found tons of clip art that I enlarged and printed out on 8 1/2 by 12 in paper. Then I glued them onto poster board and laminated them! Worked great! Email me if you you can't find any sites, I will do another search for the exact addresses. I hope this helps!
