Re: Master's Classes and Teaching
By AMac

Clip to ScrapBook
I completed my master's degree online in 2006. I tried to do as much of my weekly assignments on the weekend. We were required each week to: watch a video, read an assignment, take a quiz, post on a discussion board, reply
to two other posters, and write a paper. I tried to complete the first four things on Sunday, reply to two by Wednesday and then begin on my paper and complete it by Friday or Saturday. You just have to try to get a routine and stick with it or else you will do the entire weeks work on Saturday (which was our deadline).

Plus you have to be willing to stay up late and work after
the hubby and kids are tucked in!!!

I tried not to bring school work home (grading, lesson planning). I tried to use my conference period wisely by grading and working on lesson plannning instead of visiting with my colleagues.

Good luck!!
