Morale

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi! I was the chairperson on our Moale committee, so here are some things we did...
1. (Most popular) We made "coupons" for extra jeans days (we're only allowed to wear them on Fridays).
2. For those teachers with
perfect attendance for a whole six weeks - we gave them a "Later Gator" pass (our mascot). The teacher got to leave 30-45 mins early as long as their duty was covered.
3. We did getting-to-know-you activities at the first meetings (adapt anything that you'd give the kids!).
4. We also did the "boo" gifts... everyone liked it!
5. Instead of secret pals, we had a "traveling
basket" for all year long. Every staff member (that wants to participate) fills out an info sheet at the beginning of the year... At some point during the year, you would receive a basket filled with your favorite snacks, a gift card, etc... Then you would empty the basket and draw a name/info sheet (I kept them in my room) and fill it with goodies for that person... and the cycle continues! Everyone really liked this because it wasn't for any specific occasion... it could come your way when you're really needing a pick-me-up! :) Also, put a turnaround time limit on it - we did 3 days... :)
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
